Muddy is one of the most influential artists ever. He has influenced all of the artists that I consider my favorite not only in blues but in rock and roll too. Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King, The Rolling Stones, and even Led Zeppelin and ZZ Top, all have been largely influenced by the songs of this man. I believe very strongly he deserves a Google Doodle

I think that Muddy is realy the pioneer of electric blues...he changed the game and paved the way for all generations came after. Gotta keep the Blues Alive!

Muddy Waters is the seminal artist for rock & roll. The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page and others point to him as their key influence. He deserves to be honored on his 105th birthday with a Google Doodle!

Muddy is the man and his birthdaay needs to be celebrated properly. His music alone is something incredible and if we consider his influence on other musicians, Muddy's contribution to music is a thing of legends. His influence on his contemporaries and those who where yet to come was immense.
