Rabbits are amazing, sensitive animals that can truly help families dealing with stress. I have rabbits that I bring to school to work with my students with special needs and have never had any problems.

Our family is allergic to dogs, cats and birds. Yet. I allergies to rabbits. So we have 2 sets of bonded bunnies. They r our emotional support animals. We don’t have them registered as such. But if we ever needed to we would. These bunnies r the 3rd most surrendered pet. There is no reason this should be happening in our society in these times of need.

You should be definitely allowed to keep your bunny. If they allow dogs and cats then they should allow bunnies. Mike Pence has a bunny in the white house. What more government owned house than that? Let these people keep their bunny and get rid of those stupid rules regarding housing or get rid of housing altogether.

My rabbit is an Emotional/therapy animal for me as well and I do not believe that if they allow animals they should be able to determine what animal she sees fit for her home I believe she should be allowed to keep a rabbit and not have to move

I have rabbits in my house and they are house trained and go to assisted living facilities to help elderly with dementia and Alzheimer's petting a rabbit calm,people down with anxiety. And when,petting a rabbit they kinda go into a trance when rubbing a rabbits back and ears

Rabbits make excellent companion animals. They are intelligent and sentient. They have a calming effect, a peaceful prey species driven nature, and are no more destructive than any other domestic pet, possibly very much less. They are clean and quiet, don't require vaccinations, their poop is excellent garden fertilizer therefore safe as far as feces goes, and are no danger to neighbours or strangers. To be threatened with eviction by a landlord who allows dogs (require vaccinations, goes outdoors - wet/dirty/parasites), coat oil stuck to walls, fleas, shedding, barking, can be aggressive), cats (requires vaccinations - goes outside, wet/dirty/parasites, poops in the neighbours', can be aggressive), smelly urine/marking/difficult to get cat smell out of carpeting/drywall, feces carries bacteria that can be transferred via cat feet in litter pans then to counter tops, etc, and birds (messy, loud), is ridiculous. Good luck! I hope you get to keep your obviously much loved rabbit.

Rabbits are very intelligent companions. They are no different than a dog or cat until it comes to food or medical bills. Rabbits can use litter boxes, come when called, and even taught agility like a dog. Please do some research before taking away a beloved pet. You might be surprised at what you learn.

A family pet is a family pet. Rabbits are the third most common pet in the world. This is absolutely ludicrous. And to allow birds but not exotics is contradictory. Any veterinarian will tell you a bird is an exotic animal. Dogs and cats are far more disruptive than a rabbit. This is completely unfair and unjustified to this poor family. The rabbit is doing a service to them and you are doing a complete disservice by insisting it be removed from the home.

Just get a note from a psychologist to get her registered as an emotional support animal.

Bunnies are great family pets. I've had two in my life . If birds are allowed in these homes then bunnies should be too. I've also had multiple birds in my life , they are much messier and louder then rabbits. Also both of these animals are exotic . So if a bird is allowed (which is exotic) then a bunny should be allowed too.

Perhaps have your bun signed as an Emotional Support Animal by your doctor. You may then be able to avoid any pet deterrent lease clauses.
