Mr. Boyd has made such a difference in my daughter's life. It's because of him that she started loving to go to school. He challenges his students to excell an to be the best they can be. He is inspiring, respected, and cares about his students, and it was sad to watch a student disrespect him and verbally abuse him. He absolutely did not deserve that, and much less to lose his job over it. It is outrageous! No teacher should be allowed to be disrespected and verbally assaulted by a student. The fact that the principal would not support a long working, respected and beloved teacher and sided with a disrespecting brat, it is hard to understand!

My daughter taught this child at Carroll 4 years ago when he was transferred to Veterans by Mom due to behavior problems. This young man is totally disrespectful of himself and anyone in his way. Zero tolerance should be in place for this behavior no matter who exhibits it, student or adult. Parents do this to teachers as well. Yes, I have experience in this field.

The kid has no idea what life is like as a teacher. A life all for the students, so the students can be. To be put down by some ungrateful kid who shouldn't even have been there, shame. Being a former student of Boyd's, I know what kind of man he is. He is all for bettering students, getting them ready for their future. A brilliant, amazing man. He doesn't deserve to be in this situation at all.

CCISD has clearly failed all students and teachers here, including the student involved. He clearly needs discipline from somewhere. Mr. Boyd's good students are now missing him dearly.
