We need to wake up as human beings from our apathetic slumber and take action on what is right.

I am so much more proud of principled, honest people like Mojgan than I am of our dishonest, abusive government.

This is a very reasonable humanitarian request

If she was a white English backpacker she would have slipped through the cracks so easily. This is just discrimination based on her race

Let this woman stay. She is married to an Australian! Women at risk of fgm are eligible for refugee status. Forced marriage is every bit as damaging. The "message" we are sending via our actions is that Australians are selfish, racist, insular and cruel people with the government we elected.

#FreeMojgan #StopTheCruelty #LetHerStay Australia has everything to gain in letting this couple contribute to our country. Stop playing with people's lives just because you can.

To have to live like a prisoner when all she did was get away from abuse is wrong, wrong, wrong! She is a human; are there no humans with compassion in higher places where some decisions are made?

This excessively cruel ruling is destroying the lives of two fine young people and depriving Australia of two wonderful citizens who would make a tremendous contribution to our society. Sacrificed to the political ambitions of ruthless men. Shame!!

This is dreadful, and cannot be permitted. This lovely girl has done everything that should be expected of her, and deserves our support to the maximum possible.

Mojgan and Malid belong together, and belong HERE, in Australia. They have so much to contribute, they would be an asset to any community lucky enough to have them. Our government's policy of punishing the innocent - those who have not committed any crime - in order to 'send a message' to others - is despicable, and contravenes every decent precept of morality and lawfulness. Free Mojgan, and let her life begin anew, in a country that wants her.

This is not right. This is embarrassing to our nation. Let the couple be together and process the others. We have the resources and finances to do it. People seeking asylum need help not to be jailed like animals. The way our leaders deal with this situation is the one thing that makes me embarassed to be Australian. Australians are warm and generous, our actions as a nation should reflect this.
