This is ridiculous! She is now married to a permanent resident... That should over-rule these other laws! She should be granted a visa on that alone! These refugee laws make no sense! Even criminals have more rights than we are giving to these good people!

I cannot understand the cruelty that keeps these two admirable young people apart. They have shown a willingness and ability to contribute very positively to our society. Please reconsider your decision Mr Dutton.

Free Mojgan, let her live in Australia, she did nothing wrong and deserves to be free and have a beautiful life with her husband and all the people who love her for who she is. Good luck Mojgan and Milad! I wish you all the happiness, do not give up hope!

Please let our Australian sister out to live her life peacefully with her new family and friends. Mojgan will be a productive member of our society. Mojgan's case must be revisited and she must be allowed to live as any human has the right to.

Please, I am Australian and I want Mojgan in Australia and apart of the beautiful fabric of Australian society. This young woman has gone through far too much. Please take this as a separate case and look upon it on a compassionate basis. There is no excuse for her to be treated this badly. Mr. Jafari stay strong and one day you're wife will be back with you again.

I came to Australia by sea, I overstayed my visa, I married an Australian, I got permanent residence and later citizenship. I raised 5 children and contribute to this day to the social capital of this my adopted country. How did I manage that? I arrived in the 70s. I came from the UK. I wasn't forced to leave my country. I would have suffered no harm if I had returned to it. I chose Australia of my own free will. Am I more deserving than a young woman in 2016 who suffered abuse in her own country, escaped and sought asylum here, is plainly determined to contribute to this country and who, judging by her willingness to study and do well will undoubtedly add to the social capital of Australia? I think not. I call upon the government to exercise wise discretion in this case and not to be fearful of admitting that its policies are wrong sometimes. A wise government has the courage of good convictions and can steer beneficial public policy.

There is no reason not to allow this. Please don't tell me, Minister, that you can't do this because it would send a wrong message to people smugglers. Nothing to do with it: refusal would be simple racism and lack of compassion on your part.

Do your job Peter Dutton and intervene in this matter. What are your reasons for not doing so? Would they be different if this young woman was your daughter?
