Please release this beautiful young woman.there is absolutely no reason why she should be imprisoned. She has suffered enough.
I am ashamed to be an Australian of this is how we treat those in pain and need immediate assistance.

Here is a good example how our system is used incorrectly. Backward thinking. Everything our country stands for is being torn apart by situations like this. She is definitely no threat, she's a young woman in love, she's a wife and she's been one of us, going to school, making friends and fitting in with our way of life. She deserves nothing but SUPPORT and freedom to be with her husband. She's definitely been through enough!

Watching Australian Story made me wonder what sort of country we are becoming. Is this creeping suppression of human rights like that wheihc led to Hitler's emergence ? There can be no reasonable grounds for denying Mojgan asylum.

I support the petition to free Mojgan Shamsalipoor from detention. This woman is married to an Australian resident and her planned removal is inhumane & unnecessary. Ours is a civilised country. We are more compassionate than this.

I was so touched & saddened by your story. I don't understand that Peter Dutton cannot open his heart to your plight & can be so hard nosed about Mojgan's case. We see evidence all the time of people who are given access to Australia that are clearly never going to be good citizens yet a beautiful, young lady who has endured so much is treated in such a deplorable manner. Having supported the Liberals all my life and supporting their detention of illegals, I trusted their process of selection to protect our borders..After such amount of time and information can they get it so wrong. We trust the minister of Immigration with the right to intervene which he refused to do in such an obviously deserving case. Why? On principal? Is Imogen a threat to Australia?. We the voters only want to be protected from possible danger to our country and way and standards of living.. Had i been aware of Imogens case before the election Liberal would have missed out on my vote as well. Unbelieveable.
