This young woman has a husband and his family who are capable of supporting her. She has already shown how determined she is to be educated and trained in a profession that would help many other Australians. Cut through the red tape and let her stay. How much money is being wasted keeping her "locked up" away from her husband?

I cannot believe that the minister will not intervene in this case. Honestly what risk does mojgan really hold to Australia except for the opportunity to help others as a midwife and to love her husband and friends?? What has this country come to??

The treatment of this young woman is shameful and a stain on the members of parliament who uphold such draconian and cruel rules for no reason. Allow this woman to return to her husband and family. Let her make a rich and fulfilling life here and contribute to Australia as she has expressed is her wish. This treatment of asylum seekers makes me ashamed of our government and the standards expressed by it.

I am speechless...

Peter Dutton speaks about Australia' s international refugee obligations - these are nothing but self imposed restrictions to get the government off the hook. The lack of compassion shown makes me ashamed to have voted for the LNP coalition at the last election. They certainly won't get my vote next time unless changes are made to the criteria for accepting or rejecting refugee applications.

Please let Morgan remain in Australia as a free woman who will contribute in a very positive way as a wife and citizen

Why was she targeted? What crime has she committed? She would not cost Australia any money as she has full family support. Her brilliant mind would continue to enrich us educationally as she gains further success in her studies. She should be valued, not treated as expendable. Shame on you Peter Dutton for being the criminal and getting away with this cruelty to an innocent married lady and a good human being. Her death will haunt your public reputation if you allow her to stay in detention, neglected medically and traumatised at her imprisonment. God is watching. You will reap bad luck in every area of your life for venturing into this inhumane criminal activity.

Indefinite detention? For what crime? This is illegal unconstitutional and barbaric. Are we a first world country or a disgrace to the Western world?
