Two people were united together and married in Australia, both facing horrible fates if they were to return back to their home country. For the wife, which many people including myself love and adore, to be sent back to a country where she will be faced with many social and life-threatening challenges is an injustice and a crime by the Australian government. They deserve to be with each other, and not in fear that they may never see each other again.

Milad's wife is the sweetest young girl you could meet. So very young, so very kind, so very loving, so very broken.. there is no decent reason on earth why this couple should be separated in this way. They are incapable of harming anyone. A pair of young kids devoted to each other and willing to endure anything to stay together. They have done nothing wrong ... they are harmless ... they and their future family will be a blessing to this nation ... they do not deserve this terrible ordeal.

It is appalling that this young woman has been prevented from gaining asylum since her life would be in danger if she were to return to Iran where she took a stand against the very things we say we oppose here in Australia. Where is the justice? What happened to a 'fair go'?
