The policy change we fought for has finally been signed into law. I am completely drained after this long struggle but it is a relief to see our efforts yield a concrete result. We have to keep our eyes on the implementation phase to ensure these new standards actually hold.

Climate is the average of the weather conditions formed over a region for an extended period of time.
We call the change in global or regional climate patterns climate change. The climate of the earth has been changing because of natural and human related causes. Human related causes are use of fossil fuels, emission of greenhouse gasses and destruction of vegetation.
The impacts of climate change are different from region to region. Due to climate change precipitation amounts are decreasing all over the globe resulting in lack of water. We are also expecting the temperatures to continue to increase causing droughts and extreme weather conditions.
It is our responsibility to learn what climate change is and spread awareness to stop climate change. We must start using more and more renewable energy sources, like solar and wind energy, consume less energy by being more responsible and adapt a minimalist lifestyle by using a cost-effective and eco-friendly process to eliminate waste.

This glabal problem concerns every nation and country and thus all should take responsibility for taking this threat seriously and act collaboratively before irreversible destruction and consequences take place. Life on earth is sacred and more precious than the aims of profit-seeking industries that harm the environment.
