The Irish mental health System need reforming! Irish people aren’t safe when they have mental health issues. They aren’t looked after accordingly in private/ public mental health institutions.. people are put in these private hospitals and are having to pay or their insurance having to pay some up to 27K a month where they aren’t even receiving the correct help.. people are in and out of institutions like this meaning it’s a complete and utter revolving door for decades now meaning the systems programme isn’t working for the individuals. It’s all a money making scheme. People who attempt Suicide are brought to a public hospital and are released the day after with NO HELP. We need to reform this mental health system which clearly isn’t working. As Garda officials have said themselves .. it isn’t working.. they get up to 6/7 mental health calls per shift and many people die a day men, women and children all because they feel they have no hope in getting better in this country.
