My mom still thinks my hair is fine the way it is but she does not understand that I need this change to feel like myself. I am currently looking for the perfect shade of blue because your comments have convinced me to stop waiting for permission.

Seeing so many people back me on this makes me feel like I might actually have a shot at changing my mom's mind. It feels incredible to know I am not alone in wanting this simple freedom.

Dinah is a woke queen and I trust her decisions, especially since it’s her hair. Also hair grows and she won’t regret it cuz she’ll cut it at one point. Also it’s rlly trendy.
Please don’t dye it red or blue or yellow or some weird color Dinah imma gonna kill u if you do
it’s not harming anyone. hair grows back and the color fades and if she absolutely hates it you can easily dye your hair back to its original color. No harm done.
It’s a ride of passage to dye hair and just be a teen :)
