i-ready has ruined my life. I used to come home and play with my family. now me and my brother go to our rooms and do our hw. this website has been no help at all. people always tell kids to live their life, but they cant because of this. me, and my friends have suffered dearly from this and I have seen impact on when there is no i-ready. last time that happened, half my class cried from happiness, the rest screamed so loud I jas to plug my ears. I have token 9 HOURS. out of ONE of my days, tissues were all over my bedroom and I couldn't sleep. yet, its never enough. I am breaking my back everyday trying to not get an F in all my classes (TRYING, didn't say I wasn't....) WHO in their right minds would add a website that doesn't care about students mental heath and doesn't teach a thing. everybody expects it to just be us not doing our work, being lazy, or trying to not do 'our job'. but it isn't that, its us caring about our mental health, us caring about our physical health, and many other things. if you don't believe school is hard, your either a teacher, parent, or nerd. The risk of pediatric suicide increases during school months, with rates rising by 30–43% compared to summer months.Critics, including parents and educators, express concern that the program's proprietary and non-transparent testing algorithms prevent teachers from seeing students' actual work or incorrect answers.
