hello. i am cody’s daughter. i would like to state that my father has been the best he could ever be under the circumstances. maleah’s ruined my life, she took my dad away from me and my brother. my father never laid a hand on me, nor my brother. he never even raised his voice at me. i refuse to believe (even after reading and studying the case myself) that my father did not ever lay a hand on those children. in fact, he tried to help. this was all malesha’s doing. she was a horrible person and deserves to rot in jail. i knew those kids. i saw how she treated them. get your facts straight before you drag my father. thank you.

I knew Malesha growing up with her in school and even after when she was a mother and she would never have hurt her children. I believe that man is fully responsible. Altho I don't understand why she ran with him. That's confusing but I know for a fact she didn't hurt her babies

Yes she should have gotten less time!! I met and thought the same about Cody as others and was deceived by him also. Compared to other men in her life he seemed like the perfect boyfriend/man but all he was a sadistic bastard who liked to beat on little girls. As far as we know he didn't work and it was Malesha who brought in the money (he used her for all she had)!! And as far as I've heard about the TX and their laws they suck!! I used to like TX as a place to visit and maybe to live but the court system there has made me tell most of the people I meet/know not to live and/or even visit there!! They are cruel, believe they are above everyone else (they act like they are better than the average tax paying and the law abiding citizen) and they say they're religious but don't seem to understand what being a Christian/religious person really means!! The abuse they have put upon the family is atrocious. The separating the kids from each other to three different families (for adoption in TX) while all or most of the their family is NY and are willing to adopt them is criminal!! I hear that the Great Grandparents (Malesha's Mother's side of the family) was trying to ADOPT them but CPS wouldn't let them for the most stupidest reasons known only by CPS!! There was even cousins, aunts, uncles etc.. who are/were going to adopt if their great grand parents were not given the chance by CPS, but TX CPS wouldn't even take the time to do work with any part/people in the family for them to be adopted to and be with ones who will love them and take care for them as a family does!! They are missing family reunions because of CPS and many a Family member in NY who would take a bullet, a beating, or anything that would hurt those kids. CPS acted like everyone in NY knew what was going on in TX when we couldn't have known!! They are Idiots at CPS in TX!! They aren't even giving their Great Grandparents the court order visiting rights - they either cancel, reschedule (for times they k

I have gotten to know Malesha over the last few months. The woman the court has portrayed and the woman I have gotten to know are not the same person in the slightest. There is no justice being served by such a harsh sentence and it is a waste of tax payers money.
