We are trying to build an 1/8 mile drag strip in Alcona County. We hope you will help us in showing support that this will be a good economic venture for the area of Northeastern Lower Michigan.

We definitely need a Dragway in Alcona County! I personally know 10 people that live in Alcona County and want to bring their car builds and race them! It will bring people from all around and bring business to the area too...!

It's about time Oscoda did something to get people to spend money and time here. They have tried this before and the Old base was turned down. Some claimed it would bring crime and drugs into the area ! I've never seen a gear head choose drugs over new tires ! Grow up people and lets grow our area !

It would be a great thing, I know there are allot of racers around Lansing who race on the street. This would give them a safe place to do it. I know I have raced in Lansing and have had two times when some one could have gotten seriously hurt. After NOS explosion blew parts off a car up into the air. Falling down all over. Just think if some one would have gotten hit in the head, no ambulance or medical help their to tend to them. NOT GOOD ! sign this and share it.

This would be a great economic boost. Also make it safe racing environment and get cars off the street, and kids a place to go to keep them away from drugs.

Not only would it increase the amount of tourists but it would also bring in another good source of income to the county. Kaleva MI is the only other 1/8 side by side track in Northern Michigan and with the income brought in they've been able to help the community in many beneficial ways!

This would certainly help generate revenue for the surrounding counties, especially with parts stores and specialty repair facilities. It would be very beneficial for the northern mi automotive industry.
