We as a community have been very concerned about the speeding and wreckless driving along this stretch of Burnamthorpe between Credit Woodlands and Promontory Rd/Crescent. I have personally called the police on numerous occasions as I witnessed high speed racing on that strip. This was was during times that many pedestrians , including me and my family, were out for a walk in what is supposed to be a safe , natural environment that Mississauga takes pride in. These inconsiderate, careless drivers need to be stopped and true evidence was witnessed with the recent tragic accident this past weekend. Something needs to be done and can be done.

The speeding and racing need to stop before another tragic accident happens.

People speed across the bridge & don’t realize there’s a curve until it’s too late. That accident occurred at an hour when cyclists & pedestrians could have been on the road & pathway. Luckily no child was at the nearby playground. Living on Promontory Crescent on the ravine we hear speeders at all hours! Enough!!!

I am tired of our neighbourhood being treated as a racetrack! Please do something to control the speeding in this area.
