There is a part in the Illinois IEP where one can do accommodations for non-academics. She needs to have life with the general population and peers.

As a former Coyle MS student, I am ashamed! Maddie has the right to cheer and I am ashamed of GISD! Letting her cheer would help her and help others as well. I am signing this petition in complete support for Maddie!

I can think of no better CHEERleader in the world than Maddie! Let's remember that school cheer is an extension of the public education system and should therefore be accessible to ALL students! Come on GISD make this happen
