Madison, there are a lot of people in this world whose ignorance makes them more "handicapped" than you will ever be. No matter what happens, know that you're a superstar and a success because you're passionate, and because you're making this world a better place. Your cheer family (that's every all-star) has your back. Much love!

My daughter was the only kiddo with severe autism in her school and the cheerleaders, who won state, invited her to be a member. They provided her with a uniform and helped her to train at her pace. That was three years ago. The transformation has been astounding!! The power of (voluntary as opposed to forced) inclusion WILL bring great things to the lives of everyone involved. I hope your school cheer sponsor makes the right choice.

i think she should be able to be on the team and it's very hurtful to see that the sponsor won't let her because she's disordered.

I have watched her cheer on some of the biggest cheer stages in the country and the joy her and her team bring the crowd is something I pray you let every student, faculty member and parent watch at the games. You have not seen true spirit until you have!

My daughter is 14, freshman at SouthMoore High in Moore, OK. She is also on an AllStar Cheer team and loves it! Her highschool has a special needs cheer team and they practice everyweek and then get to cheer with the varsity squad at a football game and basketball game. They also do the 1/2 time performances at these games. I pove watching Sadie cheer right along with the varsity cheerleaders and they love cheering with our kids! I will be praying for you!!
