If u had a disability, would you sit at home feeling sorry for yourself, or make the best out of it because you only get one life. Madison is an inspiration because she can cheer and that's an honour. She's defeating the stereotypical laws saying that people with disability can't do much. She's living life to the fullest and personally I think the school is holding her back, from her life at the fullest. As I have students with disability at my school, they don't do anything, let Madison cheer, because she's inspiring others!!

Im surprised that schools will not accept Special Ed students on cheer teams. Since Maddie works so hard to be good at cheer, she definitely deserves a spot!:)

I once went to a UCA cheer camp and another team had a girl just like Madison on their team. Becky was one of my favorite athetes that I saw at camp. She couldn't stunt or tumble, but she had the biggest smile of everyone at camp. Cheerleaders shouldn't be measured by the height of their jumps or how many back handsprings they can do, but by the love they have for the sport. I'm sure that whatever is asked of Madison she will do her absolute best to complete the activity, but there are some things that are currently out of her reach. Give Madison a chance on the squad and I guarantee you that you will never, ever regret it. Thank you.

My daughter cheers for Platinum Athletics and her middle school team. There are two girls on her school team with different abilities and it is such a great opportunity for everyone! Please have a heart and do the right thing! Do the human thing!!!!

Madison should be allowed to try out. She is probably more qualified than girls that are trying out.
