My daughter, a multi-year All Star and high school cheerleader, is also an assistant coach on our gym's special needs team. The relationship she has with her athlete is precious to her. I think that including Maddie would be a blessing for the rest of the team, not just Maddie. Good luck, I hope that the school will allow Maddie the small adjustments needed for her to be successful in school cheer!

Let Maddie tryout on a even playing field- let her have what she needs to be at the same starting point as the other girls. Additional time won't hurt- it will just help. Go Maddie!!

Maddie is both beautiful on the inside and the outside. There's not a persons heart she doesn't touch. We all love watching her do what she loves best and thats Cheer. Maddie is a shining star and would bring a lot of "cheer" to this school. Go Maddie go, we all love you!

How can her being on the cheer team be anything but a great thing! An awesome feeling for all involved! I hope they reconsider. There are so many reasons they can implement her into the cheer but #1 reason is this girls love for cheer!
