Maddie should be able to have an accommodation for cheer tryout, she's a person with a disability and she has the same right to tryout as anyone else, with accommodations that are judge by her disability..

GO Maddie! We teach hard work pays off, but when someone doesn't fit "the mold" the work doesn't apply. Why is that?

We had the almost the same situation in calhoun ga and they got the news involved... needless to say that baby got to be on the sideline. How awful it takes something like this to get this across

She deserves to be a part of the cheer team as well as anyone else, these children are very smart and intelligent and she has obviously worked very hard .

I don't understand why this is even an issue. What would Maddie hurt. Nothing let her spread her joy and free spirit. Step out of the box

Wakeland High School in Frisco has 2 girls cheering on varsity this year! It shouldn't even be an issue, if anyone wants to join in on school spirit, they should be able to!!
