Cheer mom for over 15 years. Including middle school, high school and currently a SFA cheerleader as well as competitive cheer. All children deserve a fair chance even those with special needs. It's great for students and school.

Reach for the moon keep going! Madison, you are a inspiration to so many young ladies after you, and the envy of those before you who were not strong enough to fight what you are fighting! It is my pleasure to sign this petition for you! As my 13 year old cheerleader (whose middle name is Madison) says, "You got this!"

My aunt has Down syndrome and lives with my family and I. We believe she can do anything she sets her mind too and I know Maddie is no difference. God bless

I think that not giving her the video a few days earlier so that she can start to learn the try out dance is the most ignorant and it is basically discrimination.

We have and still have several kids with (dis) ABILITIES on our middle and high school teams. The schools and fans LOVE THIS!!!
The cheer coach and administration should be ashamed!!!

This girl will be an inspiration and a role model for all on her cheer team and I have seen the proof that having a downs cheerleader works and benefits all involved!

There is no reason she cannot be a part of the team in some capacity. The school and district should be ashamed of themselves!
