I feel as if disabled kids should be included in every activity or sport in the school district. The disabled should be treated like normal students. Just because she is disabled doesn't mean she is unable to hold the standards of a normal childhood.

I'm a buddy to a special needs athlete who I've also been friends with since kindergarten. Its one of my favorite parts of being a cheerleader! Give Maddie an equal opportunity to succeed!

Cheer is my passion too. No child should have to be denied simply because of something like this. Maddie didn't give up after the first time, so she's obviously hard working and deserving of this opportunity. You go Maddie!

I am a Coyle alumni and was a cheerleader for this school. I see no reason whatsoever why this child should not be on the squad

That is ridiculous!! My daughter is going to cheer camp this summer, and because she has ADHD and is very forgetful, the camp is sending videos for her to learn the routines and cheers before she gets there. It's an easy thing to do to be inclusive of those capable but need a little help getting started!! Good luck!!

Let her cheer! Let her have more time to learn the routines.
