This is absolutely rediculous. My high school had special needs children on many of our sports teams and as our homecoming queen. I've never really been around special needs children but it makes my heart ( and I'm sure I speak for a lot of other people) to see special needs children participate in activities with "normal people" ( I don't know the proper term). It also helps their development and as with this little girl, their confidence . All you have to do is go online and search for videos of special needs children online and see the joy that it brings both the children on the court but the stands. I believe that research should be done about this to prove this little girl and the school will both benefit from her cheering.

My 10 year old cousin with Down syndrome, she also has Down syndrome and loves basketball but the team never lets her play!

There is no reason to not have this sweet beautiful young girl not do cheer. The cheer world is not the same without her #dreamsdocomtrue #weloveyou

Let this girl on the team. She has the right as anybody else. All she wants to do is enjoy cheer at school and you're the ones stopping her from doing this. You go Madison! We all believe in you and we'll all fight!
