Anyone should he able to try out for sports if it is medically healthy for that person. Not letting a child with down syndrome tryout for middle school cheer is discrimination.

as being a cheer athletics athlete myself i'm very inspired by Massie and i think she deserves this, she obviously a hardworking girl, with lots of talent and love for cheer!

I just don't understand!! Have them look at West middle school and Richardson high school. They have some of the most strict rules and the best cheerleaders in my opinion. They allow(and encourage) our kiddos to try out and be involved. So sad you have to fight this fight. Should even be a issue!! Good luck!!❤️
