When we lived in Coon Rapids we lived within walking distance of this park. We would visit quite often. The swings were a favorite. There has to be another spot for the memorial that does not require removing something.

we need to save our park and there are enough other place to put this memorial. I am not sure we need another memorial to honor Shawn Muhr.

This park is very close to my mom's house, our kids & grandkids play there all the time. It would be a shame to lose it.

The location of this park is important to the residents of TRH and their families. i thought there was already a memorial wall and bench next to the legion?

Please, let's all take time to come up with a solution that accommodates everyone! I know some are passionate about the memorial, but at expense of others. I don't think those who your honoring would want that! Why not riverside area where more and more people are visiting? It is quiet and for those to be honored, can have space ti be honored. Solution is needed and this petition should not be needed!

That is a great little park in a great location. Eliminating anything that gets kids outside to actually play is ridiculous. Let's be honest, how many monuments does one town need? Especially when there is one located only a couple blocks up the street next to the legion building where it should be. If this is allowed will something be stuck in every bare spot in any part of town?

This is the only park in town (in operation) for children that can not drive.

This makes sense to me! Keep the swings and place the memorial by the pool or on Main St, between the Syngenta and the racket ball building.

Please keep the play equipment, also I suggest placing the memorial on Main Street between the old rec center and Syngenta lab. Thanks!

So wrong on so many levels that town has plenty of other places to build a memorial. Let's think of the simple joys for the elders in the community.

This park is played in constantly. Why do the swings need removed for a memorial? Is there not enough room for both? I would guess that there are many places in town that could support a memorial. This is the only place on that side of town for kids to play. Please reconsider removing the play equipment.

This park is used by many children in town of all ages. If the swings go away, the kids will not have a nice park for all ages.
