It breaks my heart seeing beautiful Church buildings needing extensive renovation, being demolished or sold to property developers. A Church is the heart of a community, providing unity, warmth, comfort, support, encouragement and most important love. I support your petition to save and restore this church full of history and beauty, built to meet the needs of the community and show the love of God. The Apostle Paul wrote to the church in Galatia to "Serve one another,” (Galatians 5:13). Paul also wrote, “Encourage one another and build each other up” (1 Thessalonians 4:18). “Spur one another on toward love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24) By saving this Church you are serving, encouraging and showing love.

It would be a real shame to lose such a brilliant opportunity for children and young people

This building needs to stay open for the future generations the council should not be allowed to keep closing buildings

Community ventures like this save a lot of kids. Keeping the occupied, active and engaged is the key to well rounded young adults who contribute better to society. Please preserve this church for community use.

What a great opportunity to preserve a beautiful building and benefit the community as well as provide an ideal training space for an unusual educational programme. Danse Vivante are to be commended and, better still, they are self-funding!

St Johns should be utilised for the benefit of the community as a whole. Dance Vivante should be encouraged in this venture and be supported by all. Very best of luck!
