John is a caring individual, and a wonderful steward of that property. Allow him the renewal provision.

I have been getting informed on this issue the last few days and want to share one of the most valuable resources on this issue - the recordings of past meetings. I did a public information request to obtain video from the 2012 hearings. If you want to learn more, these videos are the very best way to get informed. Here's the most recent Nov 1, 2016 meeting: http://vp.telvue.com/player?autostart=true&height=240&id=T05258&noplaylistskin=true&video=293880&width=320 Here are the 2012 meetings: https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=DyZFZhSjkhA https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=h86e9xw-aXQ

Lots and lots of fantastic things going on in Plymouth, many of them driven by the energy and enthusiasm of the town's leaders. This, however, is not one of them. I cannot think of a more dedicated, kind, thoughtful and hard working individual and...most importantly...fervent steward of the beach than John. I haven't been around that long in Plymouth, but I have lived in towns and as parts of communities or worked in organizations where it only takes the loss of ONE individual to have a dramatic impact on those that remain and, occasionally, it has devastating consequences. I urge the town to consider alternatives to this move and find different accommodations for whatever perceived parking needs there may be. Clearly, the people have spoken. I hope both sides can come together to engage in compromise. This is no doubt frustrating to both parties, but surely a compromise can be reached that protects the interests of both Scag and the town.

Tear up the lease and let John live there as long as he wants rent free. Stop acting like bullies.

Let him stay. Any selectman that votes to oust him, does NOT get my vote for re-election

I've always heard, a man's home is his castle. Fairness needs to be shown.

Nicest guy I've ever met, would do anything for anyone, even a stranger. New his family and him for over 30 yrs. His mother was my neighbor since the day I was brought home from the hospital till the day she passed God bless her. Use to call her auntie Nita, lol. Truly a great family. What Americans should strive to be like.

I have known John Scagliarini since High School, 46 years, as a very close friend. I know him as a heartfelt lover of the land and keeper of mother earth. He is always guided by his pure human instinct. He belongs on our Plymouth Beach as a steward of long beach. There is NO way he should be forced out of his home of 25 years. He belongs on the land that he cares so much about.
