Keep him in his house! There should be big reprocutions for towns who try to do this. How do they live with themselves! There is a house at the end of our driveway that has been empty for 3 years, why don't they take that one? This is a battle between ALL beachgowers and the town of Plymouth!!!!

This is so wrong to do the s to someone for parking spaces is such an injustice. Living in the town it has always been known the parking fills up quickly at Long Beach. Just tell the snooty people that they get there early or they are in the same boat as all the others that have beach permits. You can't kick someone out of their home for parking spaces. People are capleable of walking.

The town officials voting on this issue need to rethink their decision. The 6 parking spaces destined for John's home are just a diversion. Let's face it, later on some committee will find a way to never allow their existence. In reality the town loses out in several ways. We lose a great steward for the beach along with the funds he pays for the property. This property will become the financial responsibility of the taxpayers for its conversion and protection...
John has done everything required. Time has come for the voting officials to use some common sense and do the right thing, reverse their decision.

I cannot believe this could even be a consideration. Thinking about the foundation of our country and how our forefathers, who sailed to those shores, fought for the rights we have today, makes this issue even more disturbing. Leave this poor homeowner alone, and find somewhere else to park those cars!
Let John stay! It's the right thing to do!
