Mahopac Avenue needs to be safer. We are asking the town to:
1. put up stop signs at the bike trail entrance nearest to the Granite Springs Post Office and Jilco.
2. put up additional guide rails in sections along the Stonewall Farms section of Mahopac Avenue,
3. put a guide rail in front of the Granite Springs Post Office.
We are asking for your support and will be presenting this petition to the Town Board at the Thursday, December 8th meeting at the Elephant Hotel (335 Route 202) at 7:30 pm.
Please affirm the statement with your signature and address (in the comments section, add your street, if possible):

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people have joined this effort since I started it. This progress belongs entirely to you because I never thought we would reach this point so quickly. Your commitment to keeping our streets safer is what drives this momentum forward now.

Agreed. Granite Springs rd is dangerous enough without having zero safety for the bike trail crossing.
i almost hit a kid on a bike there last week. scary stuff. stop signs are an easy fix.
people drive way too fast on that road. it is only a matter of time before someone gets hit near the post office.
Finally someone is doing something about this. My kids walk near there all the time. Need those rails.
