With no safe way to turn left onto 25a nor south onto Park Avenue, developing his site as described will create an unsafe and heavily congested area. Not to mention that there is an urgent care facility close by both to the west and to the east, there is no need for another site. This must be avoided to preserve the nature of the area and the safety of everyone using this already busy intersection.

I oppose this development as it is too large for this site and will increase the volume of traffic in this area.

As we try to preserve our historic center and give meaning to the town's history..........it is just this kind of real estate move that degrades, and for no needed project. Stop it now!

The traffic is already overwhelming. It would be a shame to knock down a historic site. Why should they get an exception

There are so many other more suitable locations for such a building. This historic section should be preserved, not to mention there are already 3 urgent care centers on 25a in Huntington within 5 miles of each other.

Oppose another urgent care facility when there is one about 2 miles east. Very busy intersection and main route to ER at Huntington Hospital!!

This already hectic and historic spot is clearly an inappropriate location for such a project.

A medical complex in this area will impede traffic flow and adversely affect urgent access to Huntington Hospital ER.

I believe development of the Platts Tavern site would greatly increase the already horrible traffic and flooding areas in Huntington. I do not believe this would be a good thing or a safe thing to have other commercial development at this site. Traffic to or from Park Ave in the Village is already way beyond acceptable limits, and the historic village green needs to be preserved along with the key senior center and cinema arts center already present at this intersection.

Please don't let this complex be built. It will ruin the area of residential housing. This is a historical area which should remain like that. It should be built into a park. Another idea is that they should build an exact replica of platt's tavern. This builder had no concerns of the area and the people that live here. He is only thinking of himself and how much money he can make if this project is built.

As one of the early Long Island towns, Huntington has a history that few can match. Throughout its history, it has done a solid job in keeping development and historical perspective in sync. Taking away something that has existed for over 200 years and is linked to some of Huntington's truly green areas is not in keeping with that balance. Please maintain our long lasting focus and do NOT allow any commercial development on this site.

I am a longtime Huntington resident, and I would hate to see the detrimental effects of any development at this beautiful & historic entry into the Village of Huntington,

This corner is already too busy and overused. Careful and thoughtful town planning is crucial to our quality of life ... please find another spot for this medical complex.
