I agree. Schools should not be open to public

Absolutely unacceptable to open an elementary school to the public given the recent history of school violence. What does the superintendent of North Shore Schools have to say?

This is completely irresponsible to have this at an elementary school.

There are nearby alternatives. Use them. Strangers should not be traipsing through an elementary school on any day.

Schools, especially Elementary should not be a public voting location; especially in this political climate.

Once again politics over children's safety. Is it because children can't vote? We have a community center that can handle voting booths and crowds. We've used them in the past why not now?? Would a registered sex offender be denied the right to vote or would they be allowed to enter a school? Anybody an attorney that could answer that? Plus where would all these voters park? If they are parking all over the street in front of a school how would a fire truck or emergency vehicle get to a school in a real emergency.

A post office, or meeting hall such as knights of Columbus would be better choices!

Please don't allow the public access to our school while it is in session.

Free access to our school while students are in class should not be allowed. We need to change the location for voting for the safety of our children.

For an all day primary? Unless you want me camped outside my daughter's classroom for the entire school day, I would move this to the civic center, the VFW or KOC halls, the post offices, or even the libraries. They are all far less dangerous to our children. This is obviously a safety risk. I would probably keep her home otherwise, but it shouldn't have to come to that.

I do not want the Glenwood landing school to be used for voting. We have a community center in Glen head that the entire north shore community uses for all elections. It should stY that way

This is definetly not a good idea -- the voting should be held at the Community Center where its always been OR school should be out on those days. Plus there is hardly any parking at GWL during the school day so it'll be a real mess.

No voting in the school.
