Please. No. I can see no way that any party involved in any way, from production to consumption, can benefit in any way, shape or form. I do believe that the world will be a worse place for having let this picture happen. Surely we haven't lost the ability to empathize with the struggles and obstacles faced by ACTUAL people or the cartoon reprensentations thereof. Emojis are the crutch of verbally stunted individuals unable to access or appreciate the nuance and grandeur of the potential inherent in written communication and should be pitied and given aid in lack of proper education and perspective.
No one will benefit from this picture being made and though some souless character may potentially turn a profit off of this flick seeing the light of day, it is my belief that come the great slumber they will know the error of their ways and ultimately, little but regret.
