This should be available for all! Considering taxes are so high in Downers Grove, it boggles my mind why things like this ( education for children, including special needs children ) are always unobtainable for low income families! This MUST be changed! I run into this often regarding extra services for my son with CP. After school programs or programs for the weeks in between summer programs, are incredibly expensive! My son thrives and improves with these extras, why must it be so unobtainable for us low income families?!

My daughter does full day preschool and I would not want to regress her to half day kindergarten. They need to be prepared and have the structure they will have the next year in first grade and the rest of their lives.

As a teacher and mother of future kindergartener, this needs to happen. My oldest child had all day Kindergarten and it did wonders for her. I would hardly be able to afford OKEEP on my teacher's salary.

Our children need STEM STEAM IBS and ARTS! Many are coming from full-day preschools and daycares.
