Boots & Saddle plans to open a destination, adult-entertainment bar/destination party venue at 37 Barrow. We, the undersigned, oppose this establishment and the attendant noise, crime and traffic it will bring to what is primarily a residential neighborhood.

There are already 20+ liquor licenses within 500 feet of 37 Barrow, with drunk patrons creating noise and litter for the residents of this area. Boots & Saddle would create noise in the form of nightly live shows as well as loud patrons exiting the bar and loitering in the area, which cannot be controlled by even the most well-intentioned owner. Boots & Saddle has contributed to the unsafe environment of Christopher Street, with unruly patrons loitering outside. 37 Barrow is at a dangerous intersection where the increased pedestrian and vehicular traffic associated with a destination venue is ill-advised.

We implore the State Liquor Authority to help us protect our quiet family-oriented neighborhood and deny a liquor license to Boots & Saddle.
