The trainer has offered to help with Jack but truthfully today is day 81 of jail and I am afraid Jack is gonna have major trust issues. Plus its crazy to speak of rehoming. He is a 7 year old family member (talk about sadness and confusion) BUT I would do this, if necessary, and after several options of Jack returning to normal after being locked up. Jack and I had already stopped going in public as a service animal because of a car accident Jack was in years ago yet he insisted on still helping me with my disability. I doubt he would want to go anywhere else. I am all he know.

This sounds very one sided and completely unfair to Jack and his owner. At the very least, she should be allowed to visit Jack and be kept well informed about his well being.

Free Jack! It was an accident. Things like that happen. Maybe the neighbor will be more cautious cutting down shrubbery next time.

Offer option to send back to trainer that trained for service dog and then rehome him. He doesn't deserve to die!

He is too gorgeous to be put to sleep. Pitts make wonderful pets and I am sure you will have no problem getting him a forever home.

I agree with the owner of this pitbull. Taking his life is not going to accomplish anything.
