Help free an Innocent man from Prison after 18 years, "Stephen Patterson" was falsely accused and arrested at 15 years of age.

Help free an Innocent man, he was 15 years of age when he was falsely accused of a crime that he did not commit, nor was he anywhere near the seen of the crime. He is now 33 years of age. He has suffered for over 18 years for a crime that he did not commit. In fact he was in the house with his late grandfather in his bedroom when the murder occurred. Stephen, as well as his Grandfather heard gunshots, and everyone in the neighborhood went outside to see what happened.
Everyone were asking one another what happened, so Stephen walked to the end of the block to the corner to see what was going on and simply walked to his house back to his Grandfather and neighbor's that were standing on the sidewalk waiting for him. When police asked if anyone seen anything, one young teenager said she seen Stephen through her living room window. But her Mother who was outside on her front lawn when the Murder happened, testified in Court stating that is was not him, and that he wasn't even there. And later it was found that the reason he was arrested was do to the police asking the young lady does anyone look familiar from that day and she pointed him out. Of course he would look familiar to her, they live in the same neighborhood. He was arrested for being a "Young Black Curious Kid".
His Grandfather as well as other neighbors testified for him in Court stating he was not involved in this at all. Even the victims best friend, gave a statement that Stephen did not do this to his friend. But someone had to pay for this crime at any cost just to closed a case at a "Young Black Child's Expense". He was arrested over a year later, and when the Police were asked, if you thought he was guilty why did you wait over a year later to arrest him? The statement that was given was "WE WERE BUSY", now does this sound like they were arresting someone who was responsible for a murder, are just someone to pay for this crime? It is so wrong that our children can not even be children without having to worry about are they going to be ok, or if they make one wrong Innocent decision will it ruin their lives for just being curious children.
As he proceeded in Court there were 'NO PEERS OF MINORITY", and when his Attorney addressed the "Judge", it was dismissed. He was sentenced to 50 years to Life. Just with that alone he deserves a retrial, There was evidence that the Police withheld, that would have freed him, but instead they withheld it. And even after everything he has gone through, he still has a great heart. He devotes his life to help children stay out of trouble, so they want end up in the place he was wrongfully sent to for the rest of his life, for something he did not do. This is a strong man, and if released he would be a great access to the community. This is a very sad situation and with your help, we have a chance to free him.
Thank you, for your help.
