In the harsh winters, many people who are homeless don't even have jackets or any form of warmth. In fact, it has been predicted that 918 homeless people alone died last year. The people in charge are choosing to look away while hundreds die on our streets every single year. Their silence is a pathetic insult to every human being freezing in the cold right now. I am done asking nicely and we are going to keep turning up the heat until they finally act.
