It is well known the nation is tired of the same old politics. A big contributor to our current state of politics is that the two national parties take our vote for granted when we register for a political party. We can change the politics in one easy step--when you register (or re-register) to vote, check a box which is similar to "Independent" or "Decline to State" when asked party affiliation. It does not matter what party you are loyal to and this petition is not asking you to change you allegiances in any way. When the political establishment doesn't know who is in their camp, then they will be more moderate in their approach to the electorate.
