Devils Bowl is an icon. From the inception of the Wold of Outlaws professional dirt racing series to the sell-out weekly crowds enjoyed by participants and fans alike, no other venue in north Texas has done as much to promote dirt racing culture and competition to the world. Literally, for decades Devils Bowl has been the envy of other promoters around the country and held the standard for them to emulate. The fact that it is going away is somewhat surreal. Those of us die hard enthusiasts never once considered that a venue so special could meet such an undeserved end. Through the technology of Iracing, this historic and treasured ground may be saved and enjoyed for posterity. When the young pups ask “what was it like to make a lap at the coolest dirt track on the planet”? We will be able to show them.
