I don't understand why council wish to move out people who pay their rent and taxes on time, have had it in the family for 40 + years and obviously have taken great care of the place. Council in fact have accepted payment from the couple for the past 3 year so how can they now ask them to leave? Council wake up you have reliable long term tenants, they are the ones you need to keep so let them continue to live in what they see is their family home. People like this take care of your homes because they treat it like HOME. Please use common sense and let them stay.

this country is overrun with foreigners so the government pushes it's on on the streets so unfair

I believe that since they have been there and continued to pay rent then I don't see WHY cannot continue to do so.Come on Medway Council do the right thing...

It'd be a travesty if they get kicked out. Show some common sense Medway Council.
Move them out to move them somewhere else; this is a simple 'no brainer' surely ??? But then..........

Why move them out then re house them somewhere else. Pointless. That is their home now. Let them stay.
This is unjust, a family home is a family home.
I hope this works for this couple. It is not fair for this couple to loose their loving family home that holds such fond memories.
