My friend, who lives in Massachusetts, is currently having problems with her landlady. This friend, who we will call Lisa, has been living in her apartment for many years. Lisa is also in the advanced stages of cancer.

Recently, her landlady asked her to move out by April 1 (when her lease is up). She does not have the strength to look for apartments or move. While the landlady may be within her legal rights, it is VERY CRUEL for her to ask Lisa to move at this time.
