This dog should be released to her family. This is cruel and unnecessary punishment for the dog and her family

The measured bite marks clearly indicate that the woman's bite did not come from Buffy. A leash reactive dog, if left to react, can be become vicious and put a gentle dog on alert. And as an ex shelter worker, there is no reason for you to not allow the dog's owner to visit Buffy. That is just cruel. Please reconsider that option.

Let Buffys parents visit thier dog! Whatever the circumstances this is unfair and cruel!

Please stop profiling dogs purely on their looks alone. Both dogs should have been examined and documented at the scene.

The profiling and prejudice treatment need to stop. Return buffy to her home

The fact a dog is being penalized, and potentially killed, for protecting their human is criminal.

Do a fair and impartial investigation or let Buffy go home. Most dogs get quarantined for a bite without proper vaccination paperwork. Just be fair.

This is clearly a situation that is not being treated fairly and I can’t imagine if this was any other breed of dog, that they would be treating them this way. I would hope they are seeking legal representation.

This is very sad and not justified just because this dog is a pitbull she is being perceived as the vicious dog. Please send Buffy home and allow them the opportunity to keep Buffy and the community safe. If this were another breed it would only be a 10 day quarantine.

Please consider an independent behavioralist to examine Buffy. If she was aggressive, other neighbors would be coming forward. The shelter system is in such dire circumstances with unwanted dogs. Please don't haphazardly kill a dog who is likely being wrongfully blamed because the general public refuses to properly train their reactive dogs.

Please do the right thing! Not all pit bulls are bad! I pray the right decision is made. We just had to put ours down due to illness and I miss him terribly. They are the most sweetest, lovable dogs!

Bully breeds get a bad wrap. This sounds like typical bad policing & discrimination. A proper investigation needs to be done & this poor pup should be reunited with its owners.
