The other dog needs to be taken in and evaluated as well. It is ridiculous that it was never looked at by authorities. They should also do a temperament check on the other dog while on a leash.

My heart hurts for you, your wife and Buffy ... I'd find a lawyer that has the experience to give your dog a voice! It's a hard situation but I know if that was my dog locked up in that shelter I wouldn't leave, day or night, until I got someone to listen and was able to bring her home...bring people with you protest (peaceful) out in front of their doors...etc. whatever it takes! I truly hope you bring your baby girl home. ❤️

Please reconsider this case and all info connected to these circumstances. Please be fair and just given the evidence. Please acknowledge a thorough investigation was not completed. The lunging dog was out of control. Buffy should be back with her loving & responsible family.

Buffy deserves justice! A fair investigation! Don’t make assumptions based on breed. I’ve met Bullys that are sweet as can be, and Chihuahuas that bite or try to bite anything that comes near them. Please perform a complete and thorough investigation before passing judgment! I’m pulling for you Buffy!

Buffy is being unfairly judged by her appearance without even examining the other dog involved.

City officials…please do your jobs and do them with the duty to protect. Obviously, you are failing by targeting and profiling the wrong dog (Buffy) because of her appearance and your prejudices. Seems like there might just be a civili lawsuit in the making here.
