Poor Mr. Smedley - for two decades he welcomed visitors to the 6th Street Marketplace in downtown Richmond. But ever since its demise, Mr. Smedley has been lying face down in a City of Richmond storage facility. He needs a new home. The City Arts Commission will decide in the next few months where Mr. Smedley will go. What better place for a "street entertainer" than right here on Robinson Street?
