I first met David in 1990 when he was just a little boy. He and his brother Michael were the first people I met when I moved here from Colorado. Michael and my son would go on to be best friends for many years. The David I know is remarkable in that he's faced many adverse situations throughout his life and his generous, kind and loving spirit has remained in tact. He's paid for the mistake of a desperate young man that regretted it immediately after. Keeping him locked away would serve no constructive purpose. He's gained an employable skill and is working to further his education.
