im still getting tons of messages from you guys about how tired you are of that origami tree background. im trying to find the contact info for the right people at the company so we can show them how many of us want this change.

i cant believe how many people actually hate that default tree as much as i do. seeing all this momentum gives me so much hope that we can finally get our personal desktops back.

When first coming to the school I was surprised that I could not change the background! Any other school I have been to has let us change our background and it has never been a problem! We get to change our Google background but not our Chromebook background? What is up with that!
I remember a time when people could choose their own wallpaper. It was just a thing. The ability to choose was something I never fully appreciated until it was suddenly taken away. If you're reading this, you probably felt the same way for a long time. Lifting the block on wallpapers would promote individuality and self-expression.

I understand that some individuals were not making the best background decisions, but you could block the backgrounds on their Chromebooks, and let everyone else express their personalities through their backgrounds.
