At the meetings held prior to beginning construction on this project, the developers said they would keep the green space so the condos would fit into the neighborhood.

Why would any developer tell the truth upfront in the future if they know they can make any changes later with the city without recourse? If the original debevelopmentbwas approved with the green space, the green space should not go away. This can affect neighboring property owners property values to have a huge parking lot in front of their house and changes the original agreement

The developer should be held to the binding elements. No additional paving should replace green scape.

A primary goal of Mayor Fischer and the Parks department is to make Louisville a green city. We are quickly becoming one of the hottest cities in the country. The redesign of this property would put more heat into the city and immediate area.
I am against any changes to this property.

We need to preserve the character of our old neighborhoods - paving over green space is harmful to these neighborhoods.

Time to hold the developers accountable to their promises (made in writing) to the neighborhood.

Our neighbor hood is worth preserving. The old Bellnap school is one of our gems!
