This petition is being made to appeal a USSF decision to deny me from refereeing US Soccer matches other than grassroots soccer.
Individuals who sign this petition are standing up as witnesses to my character, and the changes I have made in my life. USSF will hold a meeting where these individuals may be contacted to speak on my behalf or submit a statement on my behalf.
I am currently organizing the witness statements to present before the federation board. Please email your personal account of our professional history to the address listed on the campaign page so I can include it in my formal package.

The momentum behind this petition proves that my efforts to change are recognized and valued by this community. We need to keep pushing forward by texting three friends the link and emailing the USSF officials to ask for a formal review.

I am a fellow Referee and Chris and I have traveled together for many tournaments and I most say, I have never met a more talented and competent Referee to work with and to watch him Referee a game. On those travels we have had a lot of conversations to lead me say I find Chris a man of integrity and a person who thinks well of his fellow man for what he has done on and off the field as mentor for young people.
It would be a travesty to continue to punish him for something he did as a youth for which he has already paid for in the eyes of justice.

Christopher is a fine and upstanding young man. We all have made some mistakes in our lives, and had to be held accountable for our actions. Christopher accomplished this task. He faced the punishment of his actions, and has gone forward to better both himself, and the lives of those around him. Not only has he worked on his standing as a referee, but by having attained three (3) college degrees, and graduate from FSU with honors. Now he has been accepted to graduate school at UCF. He was invited, and participated in a soccer training camp in the Netherlands this past summer. Please reconsider the decision to disallow his advancement in refereeing the sport of his passion.

Chris is an upstanding individual and has grown to be a kind and philanthropic man in the many years I have known him. After his brother's tragic death, I helped Chris fundraise for the scholarship he formed in his brother's memory. I hold Chris in the highest regard, both personally and professionally.

I am a family friend. My parents lived next door to the Hagerty family from 1991 until their passing in 2013. I have watched all of them grow. Christopher has helped out many times over the years. Even though he made a few mistakes when he was younger, I have no reservations what so ever giving him my full endorsement for any job or organization for which he is applying. He will absolutely be an asset to your team.
