This treatmeant of Anthony is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. Ireland has a very poor track record for hurting people and not been accountable until it us to late and a tribunal discovers the damage hurt when it is way to late

As a society are we becoming more open or closed minded? Is there still an overwhelming fear of the unknown? We need to raise our awareness and in doing so learn how to protect and support our most vulnerable citizens.

This is awful. I type and can't eat gluten or casein containing foods.

Anthony's basic human rights are being trampled on by ignorant brutes. Give him back his life.

I believe in an unsegregaed world where everyone has the right to pursue a full life.

This is ridiculous, does this mean that because I don't look at the keyboard to type then this comment is not valid???????? Take him off the drug and give him back his independence.

I feel speechless and helpless just reading his story, it is so wrong on so many levels. What is wrong with these people?

This should not be happening anywhere in the world. Whatever happened to Human Rights? Anthony needs to be treated with respect!

Knowing someone with a daughter with non-verbal autism who just had a book published, give Anthony back his right to communicate. You are only causing regression in all the progress he has made during his life.

This makes me especially sad as I have a daughter with nonverbal autism. She, too, communicates by typing and is on a special diet.

cant help but think that in years to come the people saying "we cant afford it" now, will then say "did this realy go on!"

This is really shocking that someone would be denied their basic right to communicate. Heart breaking.

am shocked that has happened - Anthony's wishes to direct his own lifestyle must be respected. He has already demonstrated that this is possible , with the right support , so this should be re-instated

To deny a young persons right to what ever method of communication is a crime against all of us!!
