As customers who drop $300 a week at pets mart on average, I am outraged by the fact that the district manager has for no good reason asked that 6 cages from the adopt ion center that houses cats who have been saved from euthanasia at the Chicago pound will now lose their chance at being saved because the manage just wants it without any resson. I will trs

I always thought Petsmart cared about the welfare of animals. Looks like I was wrong. Unbelievable.

So disappointed to hear that a company like Petsmart which portrays itself as helping animals would make a decision like this!

Shame on you, at least let the cats be adopted first

Have a heart for homeless pets. And you do understand that those are also your future customers.

Please keep the cages. There seems no need to remove them.

I will no longer frequent you establishment if you remove these cages. There are plenty of other stores that could use my business

Take out 6 cages that will save lives to make room to put up merchandise for our pets? What's the reason to eliminate the opportunity to animals in need? I spend well over $200 a month at petsmart. This happens and I'm taking my business elsewhere. Do what's right for the animals that bring customers into your stores

The more cages you have the more cats you can save and on an observational note the more customers you can have....but it's really about saving poor cats from worse fates
